Michael McBride MD, FAAP
Dr. Michael McBride, a native of Oak Ridge, TN, now proudly calls Chattanooga his home. He graduated with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, later earning his medical degree from the University of Tennessee. Drawn to pediatrics, Dr. McBride completed his residency at T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital at Erlanger in Chattanooga.
After his residency, Dr. McBride proudly served his country in the Navy, achieving the rank of LCDR during his active duty at the Marine Corps Air Station in Cherry Point, NC. Following his service, he practiced pediatrics for over 25 years at the Children’s Clinic in Somerset, KY, providing compassionate care to generations of families.
In 2014, Dr. McBride returned to Chattanooga, and he joined Bright Pediatrics in 2021, bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to the practice. Dr. McBride and his wife Donna have been married for over 50 years. They raised three sons and are now the proud grandparents of four granddaughters and a great-granddaughter.
